TONIGHT! Art Bike at the Modern Hotel

TONIGHT August 13th, Boise Bicycle Project presents ART BIKE at the Modern Hotel in the Linen District. Over 20 bicycles painted by local artists will be sold through live auction. Participants will enjoy music by Ned Evett and food & beverage will be available. Biking is encouraged, and valet service will be offered. Those who use the valet will be entered in a drawing for prizes. This event runs from 5 to 10 pm, and costumes are encouraged but not required. Saturday Night 7/11 In the Modern Courtyard

Matt Hopper is a songwriter, guitar player and performer from Alaska. He is currently based out of Boise, ID and performs locally and in the Pacific Northwest with Sean Hatton (bass) and A. Nigel Gates (drums) as well as many other characters known collectively as The Roman Candles. Matt Hopper & The Roman Candles bring a variety of music to the table – rock and roll, folk, psychedelic, dance, blues, etc and are often compared to luminaries such as Tom Petty, Drive By Truckers, and Ryan Adams. They like to think their brand of music is defined by a combination of lyrics, guitar solos, catchy melodies, and good hooks.
